11 July 9.30 - 12.30
Since ancient times, clay has been used to give form to the unseen.
Across continents and generations, women have shaped figures that honour life's cycles, invoke protection, celebrate fertility, and carry wisdom forward.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll create a symbolic figure inspired by an aspect of yourself you wish to reconnect with more deeply.
Through touch, storytelling, and intuitive play, we'll explore the many forms of feminine power and expression.
Your sculpture may emerge as a goddess, healer, protector, ancestor — or simply as a reflection of something within you waiting to be remembered.
* No clay experience needed, only an open heart and curious hands.
* After the workshop, your goddess will be carefully dried, fired, and finished, ready for collection from Nammu approximately 4 weeks later.
Join us for a rich morning of storytelling, creativity, and embodied exploration.
Annette Müller, lecturer in Modern Matriarchy, will guide us through the myths, symbols, and stories of Goddess cultures from around the world. Alongside her, Jade, founder of Nammu & Clay Atelier, will lead a hands-on clay workshop where you'll shape your own symbolic Goddess form.
Wild Nettle will nourish the senses with seasonal herbal infusions, while a surprise goddess-inspired performance will awaken the imagination and offer inspiration as we shape our clay creations.
Together, we'll gather around clay, story, and sisterhood, exploring the many expressions of feminine wisdom, creativity, and power.
